Whether you are battling with the system to get answers to what is going in your body, have recently had a diagnosis, or have been struggling alone for a long time, therapy can help with:
Feeling heard, validated, and less alone
Therapy offers a compassionate space where your emotional and physical health experiences are taken seriously, believed, and validated.
Making sense of your mind-body experience
We can explore how thoughts, emotions, behaviour and physical symptoms interact, helping you develop a clearer and more compassionate understanding of what is happening for you.
Navigating complex healthcare systems
Together we can build confidence and empowerment in engaging with healthcare professionals and complex systems.
Developing self-compassion and reducing self-criticism
Using approaches from Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), we can work on strengthening a kinder, more supportive inner voice and reducing patterns of self-blame or harsh self-judgement.
Learning skills to work with difficult thoughts and feelings
Drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we can develop practical ways of relating differently to distressing thoughts and emotions, so they feel less overwhelming and more manageable.
Living in line with what matters to you
We can explore your values and what gives your life meaning, and support you in taking small, achievable steps towards a life that feels purposeful and authentic—even in the presence of ongoing health challenges.
Working Together
I currently offer 1:1 therapy sessions online.
Although online therapy can feel unfamiliar at first, many people find they quickly settle into it and experience it as a comfortable and effective way of working together.
Our work would begin with an initial assessment session, where we take time to understand your current difficulties and begin to build a shared understanding of what you are experiencing, as well as how therapy may be able to help. From there, we can decide together whether ongoing sessions feel appropriate and helpful for you.
Following the assessment, we will discuss together how many sessions may be most helpful and appropriate for your needs, as well as how often we might meet.

FEES:
50 minute assessment: £120
50 minute ongoing therapy sessions: £120
