About Me

I have always been interested in the intersection between emotional and physical health, and my fascination with the mind–body connection led me to pursue a career in Health Psychology.

I have had the privilege of working across a range of NHS Health Psychology Services, where I have seen first-hand what timely, person-centred, and compassionate care can look like in practice. I have also witnessed the significant impact when people are unable to access this type of support when they need it most.

These experiences have shaped my approach to practice and strengthened my commitment to providing care that is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based understanding. They have also fuelled my passion for contributing to a wider shift towards more accessible and psychologically informed support for people living with physical health difficulties.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cardiff University and a Master’s in Science from King’s College, London. I completed my Doctoral Qualification in Health Psychology with the British Psychological Society in 2016 whilst working in NHS Grampian, Aberdeen.

I am accredited and regulated with the Health Care & Professionals Council (HPCP) and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).

Throughout my training and post qualification I have worked in a number of NHS services, and have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of individuals including people living with:
